The Monitoring and Tracking Mechanism follows up the Strategic Framework for Peacebuilding in Burundi and establishes the Partners Coordination Group in Bujumbura, Burundi to coordinate monitoring on the World Bank Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper and the PBC Strategic Framwork. The Partners Coordination Group will produce periodic progress reports, which will serve as the basis for the PBC's review of progress in meeting the commitments in the Strategic Framework. The PBC Burundi Configuration will hold ambassadorial-level semi-annual meetings to consider the reports and other stakeholders' meeting of commitments and issue recommendations on the further consolidation of peace. Included in the Monitoring and Tracking Mechanism is a matrix of peacebuilding priority areas, stakeholder commitments and benchmarks to measure progress.
